On a personal note, my first could only drink from a disposable bottle with
one brand of nipple (it went off the market before I was done with
working/pumping - a letter to the manufacturer got me 4 free packages of
the 'preferred' nipple). My second would not take any bottle or nipple. I
then became a CBE/LLLL and received many sample bottles so I whenever I
needed to use a bottle I would alternate between these samples. Babies 3 &
4 didn't care as long as they got food. So I encourage new parents to try
many different brands/types to see if their baby has a strong preference to
know which to purchase more of, if there isn't one they are set.
