In our NCCU as the babies get closer to discharge, we use powdered Neosure instead of HMF to fortify breast milk. This is what they go home on. We fortify it to 22 or 24 calories.

Subject: Breastmilk Fortifiers
If your hospital has a NICU or SCN what type of fortifier is used to increase calories of EBM? In your experience is there any evidence of using powdered regular formula to fortify EBM instead of using Human Milk Fortifier?
