Hello! I have been an RN for 13 years and an IBCLC for 6. I have worked the majority of my time in the NICU. I have worked as an IBCLC exclusively for the past 2 years. I first heard of Lactnet from my colleagues in the lactation department 2 years ago. I have never posted anything but love to read it. I was not aware of the Facebook page and although I will definitely check it out I don't believe it will ever replace this. There is such a wealth of information and community here it would be a shame if it went away. It makes me so proud to be a lactation consultant and to know there are others out there who feel as strongly about helping families reach their breastfeeding goals as me. Best to all!
