Dear Leslie,
It is true that serious illnesses do affect our body's "performance" in all
arenas. I am hopeful, with the suggestions you provided, that things will
rebound soon. Other ideas:
I agree, pump maintenance can be overlooked, altho I don't think it's a
major factor here - change the valve/membrane, for example - but even
better, rent a multi-user pump, e.g. Symphony or Platinum - for the short
term
increase fluids and electrolytes, e.g. Gatorade type drinks
Rest as much as possible, if working, take some days off.
