I commend everyone, again, to look over the wealth of public health
resources available for Colorado's Dept of Public Health and Environment,
regarding marijuana use or exposure:

Public health messages cover:
the impact of the smoke-part of marijauna;
the impact of THC part of marijuana, which stays in breastmilk and fat for
a long time;
the don't-be-an-impaired-parent part of marijuana;
the safe storage of marijuana, to avoid accidentail ingestion by toddlers;

See the "Fact sheets for patients," written in several langauges, and "For
discussions with parents or guardians of children or adolescents ages 0-20."

This is *not* shame-and-blame public messaging.  This is thoughtful
resource and information-sharing for healthcare providers, to help their
patients/clients who use marijuana, or are around marijuana users.

I am hugely impressed with the thoughtful, thorough, cross-disciplinary
approach taken by CODPHE.  They have given healthcare providers materials,
based on evaluated evidence, to permit one-on-one discussions of risk and
benefit with users of marijuana ... all with an eye toward *informed
decision-making.*  That is as it should be.
