Greetings to all!
Is anyone familiar with using Growth Hormone (hgh) for increasing milk supply?
In search for solutions for a client who has IGT I came across the following study (as well as others):
Growth hormone increases breast milk volumes in mothers of preterm infants
A J Gunn 1, T R Gunn, D L Rabone, B H Breier, W F Blum, P D Gluckman
Pediatrics 1996;98:279–282
This was brought as a reference in a protocol of ABM but there was no discussion about it.
Further, this same woman mentioned that she heard of a treatment that is taken once in 3 months that had a dramatic effect on the milk supply of her friend but she had no further information. (I was wondering if she got progesterone in pregnancy). Has anyone heard of anything like that?
Thanks for being out there and always willing to share!
All the Best,
Riva
