I have been asked if there is a way to compare the potential health risk of selling raw cow's milk vs the use of "raw" human milk. The question posed to me is what is the likelihood of a microbial disease being passed to an infant through mother's milk?
Apparently the acceptance of the use of fresh, untreated breastmilk is being put forth as a reason we should also allow the sale of raw cow's milk.
