 Now you did it Nikki!  Sent me on what J calls a rabbit hole.  Went to the Human milk: Colostrum file........needs some tweaking, but I don't have time to do that today :-(  Found one ref from Rush in a handout for mothers "How much colostrum does my Baby get? Most mothers produce just the amount of colostrum that their babies need. "
They went on to say that most moms made more colostrum than their little babies need.  Which sort of messed up my theory-the bigger the placenta, the bigger the baby, so more colostrum.  Stay tuned I'll try to see what else I can find. Pat in SNJ
