Hi everyone
At our hospital we have been suggesting to diabetic women from 36/40 to hand express colostrum and freeze it Incase their baby requires extra after a breastfeed ( due to hypoglycemia) in the early days
One mother today defrosted 1 ml of colostrum from a syringe and it had thickened like cream cheese
Anyone have any idea why this would happen? Not sure if I can post a photo but I can if this is possible in the list
