Hi All,

I saw a discussion about taking manganese daily for prevention of mastitis. Manganese is a heavy metal and can cause neurotoxicity as it accumulates in the body, similar to lead poisoning. I would not recommend daily use. Yes, it is an essential trace metal for our bodies, but can be toxic in higher doses.
