I have worked with mothers that were worried when clear milk was flowing.
When they continue to pump it transitions to creamier milk. This seems to
happen after a long stretch of not removing milk and would be consistent
with a large milk supply as well, IMO. Perhaps ask her about the frequency
of milk removal prior to this happening? How many times a day does she
typically pump/BF? That is a very large volume so she may not remove milk
very often. I've worked with mothers with such large supplies and some only
pump/BF 4-6x's a day.
Curious what others think....

<<<<So, I just heard from this mom again. She pumped a total of 14 oz,
sometimes gets as much as 18, so this is not an unusual amount. By the end
of the pumping session, the fat content has increased, so maybe just an
over-abundance of foremilk?>>>>
