I took a look at the link Gael posted, and saw that, apart from dairy and
soy, corn is close behind. I am reading The Omnivore's Dilemma (Michael
Pollan) which describes, in part, how we are the new "Walking Corn People",
after the former early Mexicans. There are so many forms of processed corn
in our processed foods. So, I am not surprised that corn is a potential
culprit. There is so much we don't know about our food processing chain. I
thank LLL for their adage "Eat from a wide variety of food groups, from all
parts of the basic food, and in as close to their natural state as
possible."
