Rachel, thanks for putting us on to this. I decided to go back in the
archives and find my first post....here is part of it, from March 22, 1995:

"Hey, everyone - especially Kathleen Bruce (who nagged at me daily....)

So glad I took the two minutes to join. I've never had so much fun getting

mail in my life! This beats the junk that comes in the mailbox and makes up

for all the bills that arrive on a daily basis. I don't have any major

questions at the moment, just wanted to take a minute to say hi to
everyone."

I think it was post number 146 or something like that.

Anyway -- what an incredible resource. I have recommended it to all our
CLS students -- and have been doing so since 2000, even have a slide and
notation as to how to join....I tell them that Lactnet is one of the best ways
to learn ... So much good stuff when we hear something like, "I have a mom
who....whaddya think?" The generosity of everyone in sharing is
wonderful.

A huge shout-out to the Kathleens (especially Bruce) for starting this, and
to the list moms who keep us on the straight and narrow.

Oh, and yes, I'm on Facebook Lactnet too.....
