Seeking IBCLC near Holland, Michigan. If you are able to assist, please email me privately.
I received a call today from a distraught grandmother (my friend) whose grandson was born 2 days ago... 37 week neonate who has never latched. Initially sleepy and disinterested in feeding, fed with dropper in hospital and sent home at 1 1/2 day of age on a bottle that, according to the nurse, "is most like mother's breast" (:/) Baby is also being treated at home for hyperbilirubinemia with a bili-blanket. Mother is very motivated, pumping every 2-3 hours, has implemented s2s and is feeding babe EBM with the hospital-issued bottle.
Thank you.Becki Neely, RN IBCLC LiveTruth. LoveWell.
