Why on earth would a breastfed baby need probiotics?? Breastmilk is FULL of
probiotics! If a baby has been taking antibiotics or is exposed to
dangerous flora, he should breastfeed more and remain on skin to skin with
his mother as much as possible.
I believe this is just one more marketing ruse.

Subject: probiotic
I just received a flyer on probiotics for breastfed babies. I work in a
hospital setting as an IBCLC, seeing lots of antibiotic use, and
c/sections. Therefore , I can see a bonus on using a probiotic supplement
(short term) . What are the thoughts here on a product like this? This one
was called Evivo.
