I'm thankful for the discussion on this, and am learning a lot from it! I don't get to see moms, in person. Because of health problems (including severe fibromyalgia, which was a fad diagnosis in the 90s, like tt/lt is now) I don't have a private practice, like I was hoping to have. I only communicate with moms, usually adoptive moms, online.
Do you ladies know of any diagnostic tools available online, or do you have suggestions on how to tell when an oral frenulum that looks tight is really affecting breastfeeding, and when it is not, without seeing the baby in person? Do you have a list you go through, to rule out the most common problems before moving on to the more serious? Any suggestions are appreciated!
