Moms need to know more about what happens in the first few days/weeks of breastfeeding IMHO :-) See Jan Barger's 2011 article Baby's Second Night. 1st time moms go home in 24-48 hours, they're tired, excited and have no clue what happens next (like engorgement, BF babies eat frequently-this is setting up mother's milk supply, and so on.) The total-ness of having a new baby is overwhelming. They need to know they need not be worrying about other things, just baby and caring for self. Dad's need to know to feed mom and do the laundry.
