Dear Patricia Young:
There are 4 studies now, showing that deep breast pain is more likely to be
a bacterial infection, most often Staph. aureus.
Other reasons include vasospasm or Raynaud's, baby clenching the nipple,
mammary constriction syndrome, contact dermatitis and nipple skin
infection. Also duct cramping during breast filling.
A yeast diagnosis for deep breast pain hasn't held up over the years
warmly,
