This does not immediately resonate with me as pyloric stenosis. Sick babies
often do not grow well. If the baby is growing very well I think I would be
helping the mother with some oversupply management strategies. While
certainly encouraging for the pediatrician to evaluate the baby. If it's a
matter of her questioning the Pedialyte as part of the assessment plan, I
would encourage the mother to ask for clarification and to convey her
concern, anxiety and wishes to the medical team. I would expect that a
mother or be given answers and respect, especially a mother who has been
through what she has been through with her other children. Laurie
