Yeah, I couldn't find it on any of our "regular" lactation-and-medicine
resources.
This website, however, cautions *against* its use by pregnant women (broken
pills can allow absorption through skin, and cause birth defects to male
children), and says "For women who are breastfeeding: Finasteride should
**never** be used in breastfeeding women. It isn't known if finasteride
passes through breast milk. This drug is not prescribed for ue in women."
Emphasis is mine ... and I note that it is *stronger* language that the
customary FDA-required language to "check with your health care provider"
if pregnant/lactating before use of a drug.
