My three month old granddaughter is doing the same thing-even now that my daughter's milk supply has gone down she still nurses like she did when the oversupply,  over active let down existed in the first two months.
She had TT and lip tie released 10 days 
ago and nipple pain has alleviated but
 latch still stinks ( is shallow with smacking)  
What kind of pacifier did the OT use for suck training? Has anyone else on this list used a pacifier to induce better sucking?
She has been seen by two other LCs besides her mother so positioning is good. 
Weight gain went from one and a half ounces a day for the first 6 weeks, then after doing one sided breast feeding every two hours to 
1/3 oz/day for the next three weeks. now 1 ounce a day for the past two weeks now that she is nursing on both sides for at least some of the feedings.
She is a fooler as she did no complaining during the period when she was not gaining weight well. 
Appreciate any insights.
