Here are some papers that came up on a PubMed search using the search terms "human milk in cancer treatment":
This first paper is an abstract-only 2014 review paper that discusses both human and bovine milks and references clinical trials that are taking place. Although I have no knowledge of leukemia trials using human milk, it would be wonderful if your friend's family members could participate in such a study and/or receive such helpful treatment if established protocols currently exist. NIH would be the resource in the U.S. to learn if any clinical trials are underway in this regard.
