I hope that I am not violating any rules by this post and if I am,
please forgive me in the spirit of all the Holidays we are celebrating
this season ;D
I am posting this with my adoption physician's hat on.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders are much more common then people think
and the study by May and associates did prove it again.
While this Medscape CME activity
http://www.medscape.org/viewarticle/834326 is not addressing the issues
of breastfeeding per se, we all know how FASDs are affecting child's
well being from the very beginning of his/her life.
It may be an interesting to evaluate the breastfeeding attitudes and
rates by the FASDs affected mothers as with all their problems that can
be a great challenge...
Happy Holidays,
Alla
