A good place to start regarding electronic records and BFg is the
free-to-anyone resource, from the U. S. Breastfeeding Cmte (USBC)
entitled "Best
Practices Guide for Implementation of Newborn
Exclusive Breast Milk Feeding in Electronic Health Records". It was
prepared by an expert panel,
and is intended for the tech/computer folks to use. BUT it is also
important for clinicians to review
because it recommends our input when these systems are being developed.
