Recently working with a LLLeague mom who’s baby is almost
2 mos. old. who is experiencing VERY similar issue. Elimination
diet, and on hypoallergenic EBM (spit-up/vomit EBM, but the
situation was more often severe when baby bfed.)

Bottom line: PTT-4, and Pediatric GI stated he felt it was
a very bad case of GERD. Not an allergy. He said there
were no other signs of an allergic reaction: Hives, rashes, diaper
rash, bloody diarrhea, eczema, etc.

Note: I have personally witness this child spit-up/ vomit at
least 2 - 4oz.  at a time.

Sadly, mom was pumping and dumping a couple times a day;
(her pediatrician was convinced it was an allergic reaction
to mother’s diet) I’ve since convinced her to save her breast milk.

After the frenotomy, the vomiting of EBM decreased by about 25% (mom’s
observation)

Mom is still not bfeeding — she’s too frightened. I get it, and empathize.
