Hi Karen - I came across your message a few days ago and am very curious as to why there is any question whether or not you can have MOM, DHM or formula in the fridge or storage bin(?). Are you thinking that there could be a potential bacterial or virus transfer?
As far as storage in the freezer, if you have a frost free freezer or fridge it will affect the milk if there isn't a lid. If you've ever seen ice cubes in a frost free freezer, the ice generally shrinks with time as water is lost - although I haven't tried this with breast milk I'm sure the same science applies. Hope this helps.
