Northern illinois hospital person here.
We have been doing EBF stats for a year now. We audit every chart that is not excluded for other reasons. Our initiation rates are 87-92%. Our EBF rates at DC are more like 50-60%.
We are in the process of purchasing First Latch education for the next fiscal year to change our nursing and MD culture of "just a little formula won't hurt".
Wonder how long before our numbers turn around.
Have others had luck with first latch education?
