are you saying the infection started at 1 wk and still persists to 3 mos?
And she's been on antibiotics this entire time?
If so, I think she might want to see an infectious disease doctor,
re-culture skin and milk, change antibiotics based on cultures, have an
ultrasound maybe to see internally. Is she using a topical product? Could
be allergic to it. It is unlikely, but has inflammatory breast cancer been
ruled out?
This next suggestion couldn't hurt: large doses of probiotics.
