Some of us who earnestly tried to work with Xerces, despite Jim's warnings,
got stabbed in the back, and have swallowed a bitter pill.  There are other
groups whose interests are more in line with ours.

I currently am enthusiastic about the collaboration between Pheasants
Forever and PAm.
