Hi, I have a question about taking the IBCLC exam in April 2017. I am
re-certing, so I figured I would take the exam in April, and then can
always take it again in October if I didn't pass. But as I was going to
apply, I noticed if you do NOT pass the exam in April, your certification
expires JUNE 30th. So now I'm thinking there is no advantage to taking it
in April. I might as well use the extra time to study, and just take the
exam in October, then if I don't pass my IBCLC expires Dec 31st, it just
gives me more time to work, and study to make SURE I pass.
Was wondering if you all agree? The deadline to apply for the April exam is
Nov. 15th.
Thanks so much for your opinion. I learn SO SO much from everyone, and
appreciate all the sharing.
