A great idea, Jan Barger, but what about those babies whose cords are off
in 5-10 days! I saw one such today and this kid did NOT yet know how to
breastfeed well. Mother was sore and baby still objecting when anyone
touched back of his head--as if to push him into breast, as hosp LC was
reported to have done!
Ack! :-/
I like the idea of a time period, but am concerned that cord departure can
occur too early to make it the element mothers are urged to look for!
