Yes I have seen this. As we are trying to position baby the cheek touches
the breast and the baby turns with that perfect open mouth to latch. I
don't know why the whole lip became 'the way' to latch baby. I remember,
back in the day, when talking how to hold the baby the key point being do
not touch the baby's cheek with your fingers or you will confuse the baby as
to where the breast is.
