Hi from Madrid,
Radiologists have learned here to ask mothers to breastfeed/pump RIGHT
before the mammogram, and they can then get a pretty good image.
The American Cancer Society says:
Mammograms are not perfect at finding breast cancer. They do not work as
well in women with dense breasts, since dense breasts can hide a tumor.
Dense breasts are more common in younger women, pregnant women, and women
who are breastfeeding, but any woman can have dense breasts.

Nowhere does it say "do not perform a mammogram on a breastfeeding mother.
Dr Fedro Peccatori also has many good papers and lectures about
breastcancer in breastfeeding women.
Warmly,
Kika
