Is this mother cleaning her baby's teeth with baby toothpaste? As the child
is too young to rinse and spit, traces of toothpaste from the mouth could be
in contact with the nipple/areola. It's not someting that is usually thought
of, and if it is so, it can be very puzzling. Unusual, but something to keep
in mind.
