Hi Linda,

We have an extensive section on* Safe Infant Sleep* on our webpage. Check
out: http://www.platypusmedia.com/safesleepresources

Few issues in modern parenting generate as much disagreement as whether or
not parents and babies should sleep in the same bed. This page provides
information about cosleeping, sleep training, crib safety, and overall,
sleep safety.

There is an *FAQ l*ist with topic including cosleeping, sleep training,
crib safety, cosleeping while traveling, bedsharing with premature babies,
bedsharing with adopted children, benefits and setbacks of crib sleeping,
safe crib requirements, and more.

The *Compiled Cosleeping Resource List *presents a variety of research and
knowledge covering an array of safe sleep topics (cosleeping, bedsharing,
sleep training, SIDS prevention, etc.) as well as other general infant
health topics.

*Safe Sleep Checklists *includes a number of checklists from expert doctors
and professional medical organizations to ensure a safe sleeping
environment for an infant.

Additionally there is my *Safe Infant Sleep PowerPoint* presentation which
covers many of the issues that arise in safe infant sleep discussions.

*There is a link to a Must-See investigative report on SIDS deaths in
Milwaukee. *

In addition there are links to a Children's Hospital cosleeping ad, a
Milwaukee anti-cosleeping ad, a Baltimore anti-cosleeping flyer, and a
humorous item on How NOT to sleep with your baby.

I hope this is helpful!

- Dia

Subject: seeking infant sleep info

I am preparing a conference presentation on infant sleep, and am looking
for research and articles on this topic - normal sleep cycles etc. Please
let me know if you have something you have found particularly useful and
informative. Thank you,
