Of course, this is a newspaper report and not the actual paper, but it looks 
as if the researcher didn't factor in history of reflux (more acid released 
in response to food, and the lying down position) and tongue-tie and 
lip-tie. At least the report didn't sensationalise the findings.

valid. Many people won't read past the headline and tooth decay is the only 
thing they will take away about extended breastfeeding.
