I never got to meet Jean in person, but felt like I knew her well from her frequent posts (always so interesting) and personal emails.  She was quick to lend a helping "word" to any clinical situation.  Just two days ago, I stood before nursing staff, educating them how to apply her RPS techniques to facilitate newborn latch.  I'm so glad that I have a small part of  her knowledge and experience to carry forth into my future practice.  Less than two weeks ago, she recommended some new books for my personal reading list. I will treasure those two final reads most of all.  Thank you, Lactnet, for the opportunities that repeatedly brought us together in cyberspace.  She will certainly be missed.  --Shannon, Bryan, Tx
