Lipase is the enzyme responsible for the smell and taste of milk that babies sometimes refuse. Shortly after pumping, heat the milk up just to the point of small bubbles along the side of the pan and then quickly cool the milk and store.
I have 2 moms dealing with this right now as well. One noticed the problem when she started eating dairy again, which could be a coincidence.
