Hi Esther:
Good to see your post and know that you are working, still at Esperanza?
The frontiers of breastfeeding through cancer are expanding. There are
research articles now published about treating cancer in pregnancy, and in
lactation. Not enough yet that it is common practice, but a promising new
field.
If this mother could keep breastfeeding until the results of the biopsy
come back, perhaps she could do research on the drugs and see what are the
possibilities?
