I second this. Also used Marsha Walker's Core Curriculum for Lactation Practice. Also online videos and education from lactationtraining.com.

The only book I used to study for the exam this past summer was Comprehensive Lactation Consultant Exam Review by Linda Smith. It comes with a CD that has practice questions and full 175 question practice exams. It has lots of good pictures as well. I passed the test with a pretty decent score using only this book.
