Since the range of serum potassium concentrations compatible with life
is not very large, I'd think that anyone with enough potassium to get
themselves to medical care to deal with a low level, is not so
deficient that it would be life-threatening.
It would be interesting to know how milk levels are related to serum
levels, though.
