Kathy - is there a typo in your post?
A baby aged 2 and a half weeks who is 2.5 kilos above
birthweight...that can't be right, can it?
In respect of your other question - that fat quantity of breastmilk
is affected by the amount of milk in the breasts. Lots of milk in the
breasts = proportionately less fat. If the mother expresses milk
when her breasts are very full, she may well think it appears less
fatty. But that's normal. It does not mean her breastmilk is lower in
fat than anyone else's.
