Hello all. (Permission to post). Working with a mother who is 9 weeks postpartum and had Mirena IUD inserted a week ago. Baby still with good weight gain. Mother has to return to work January and wants to start stockpiling milk. She was getting 4-6 oz and now only gets 1 oz after breastfeeding. Would like to know if you have seen a mother's milk supply rebound after having IUD removed? Does she have to pump to increase supply or would breastfeeding alone increase supply? Thanks in advance for the input.
