Reading some work by others, improving gut health - taking probiotics, digestive enzymes, etc - may decrease absorption of whole proteins across the intestinal/stomach lining. I wonder if there has been any good research on this?

Subject: How do proteins from foods consumed end up in milk??
Individual protein types have been identified in breastmilk (various cowsmilk, peanut, egg, etc) and this happens when mom eats it, then digests it, and absorbs it into her blood, and puts it into her breastmilk.
I have worked with hundreds of moms whose babies have symptoms when she eats a specific food that disappear when she avoids it.
