What is so scary about it?
The message is absolutely appropriate - it is against co-sleeping with a
parent who was /*drinking alcohol, doing drugs and/or smoking*/,
If I do remember correctly in addition to above conditions, the rules of
co-sleeping apply only to breastfeeding (exclusive BF in younger
infants) and should also exclude unsafe sleeping arrangements (sofa
beds, soft beds, a lot of soft bedding, etc), non- biological parent,
and/or medical/psychological conditions affecting mother's sleep/wake cycle.
