I had a patient call that had her gallbladder out 2 days ago and has been pumping blue milk ever since then. I didn't see it, but apparently it is not just a normal thin milk with a blue tint. The milk is actually blue. Baby is 3 months. She did have contrast, antibiotics and pain meds. She denies any other supplements. I specifially asked about DHA. Could she have been injected with dye or something else? Would dye come out in her milk like this? She wasn't able to tell me much else. All I keep thinking about is methylene blue. Would that be applicable in a gallbladder surgery? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks, Mandy Schaub
