I think that it is unlikely for banked donor milk to be able to be widely available in the community. However, think it is a realistic possibility that every maternity hospital could have banked donor milk available to infants who have hypoglycaemia or whose mother's milk is delayed because of a PPH for example.
I wonder if milk banking people on Lactnet could comment on why milk banks are more widely available in Brazil than in the developed West?
