First, I would like to publicly congratulate a friend of mine who is on
Lactnet. Lynn Wickberg recently graduated from medical school here in
Vermont, and I can proudly address her now as Dr. Wickberg...(Only kidding
Lynn...although I am thrilled for you... : ) It is an amazing feat that you
have accomplished.
With regard to freezing milk that is contaminated with yeast, I think that
the reason we do not recommend that women who are infected with yeast freeze
milk is that later, when the infection is cleared up, the baby can be
reinfected with contaminated milk.
