We have dads who do skin to skin and our staff will initiate it with dad during the power hour, if mom is unable due to medical complications.  We have it written into our lactation policy.  They love it.  We also use it with both parents in the nicu when our babies kangaroo.  I think studying the bonding affects of s2s on dads would be a interesting study.
