Subject: Chinese stoneware jar

July 6, 2013
Hello All,
We have a large Chinese stoneware wine jar.  (@18 inches high, @12 inches diameter.)  It is complete.  However, it was put out in the sun and has cracked in a great many directions.  It is still holding together but we fear it will fall apart.  It is to go on display, but we want it mended.  Do you think squirting glue into the cracks will hold it?  And what type of glue would be best?
Thanks,
S. Walter
